Flora: Question Six

That was not the answer that Fred wanted to hear. It would have been a relief to have the dragon declare that he was not a meat-eating animal. He thought that he had the answer. The dragon's "No" eliminated many things that came to mind, such as the King's gardens, forests, and most collections of plants, which had some variety in them.

Fred was deep in thought, trying to find out what the single plant in the great collection was. Perhaps it was a silo of corn? That would be larger than he was, and have only one plant in it.

So Fred asked,

1. "Is it a silo of corn?"
2. "Are the plants inside the object food that humans normally eat?"
