Astra's Cover is Blown!

Unfortunately, Paula blew it for her.

"Berenice!" she shrieked, "How could you do such a thing after she saved us?!"

"But he's going to eat us all!" she wailed.

"Eat you?" the dragon asked, sounding puzzled. "Why would I want to do something like that?"

"It's what you do, isn't it?" Astra asked bitterly, dropping all pretense. "Why else would I risk my life and honor to come after you if it weren't true?"

"So it's true?" the Dragon said. "You are Princess Astra?"

"Yes, it's true!" she proclaimed. "I am Astra, Princess of Aqualaria, daughter of Matriarch Kestar the Glorious, and I was sent to these caves to end your reign of terror, feeding off the innocents of these lands surrounding you! Now," she said, unsheathing her dagger, knowing herself to be outmatched but not giving in, "Face me and answer for your crimes!"

There was silence for a moment, then:

1. With a mighty roar, the dragon charged.
2. With a surprising squeak, the dragon turned tail and fled.
3. The dragon began to laugh.
4. Weeping in terror, Berenice fled.
5. Frederica grimly drew her sling and stood alongside Astra.
6. The Dwarf King's chest suddenly sprung open with a burst of light.
7. "Hold!" came a commanding voice from behind the dwarves.
