Desperate move after desperate move...

Well, that's a desperate move, truthfully. It's akin to operating on one's self, in a way....

Then again, at least with her powers she's got some kind of clue what she's getting into here.

Trying to get Fred to find some kind of answer in a random book is a long shot at best and besides, knights of Allaria (she hears) are usually illiterate! Let's not go into what we're facing in a knight trying to read a mage's spellbook (if there is one to be had).

As for trying to use another potion? Well, first one she tried shrinks her and the next one changes her into a winged blue fairy. She's desperate, not stupid. Only drank the "beverage" in the first place because she was about to pass out from the heat of that rod (and passing out in a dangerous cavern ain't a good idea, unhealthy).

Being six inches tall (or so) wasn't healthy either so drinking the blue potion seemed to have been a good idea at the time, I guess....

Hey, she was desperate. Sometimes even the brightest of folk (and Astra is pretty bright) make bad mistakes when desperate.

As for going off to change the dragon with her magic? Well, she has no idea where the beast is so that's not really going to happen, realistically?

Change Fred, Vellus, or some combination of the two with her magic? Why?

No, she figures that this is her best hope. If not changing her back to normal, maybe she can change her mindset to allow her to harm (or kill) the Dragon of the Northern Caverns!

It is her duty, you know....

Well.... It works in as far as it changes the winged blue faerie lass into something else. Oh, wouldn't know by looking at her! Looks just like she was before (and is in all details except one). See, she now is a pixie, which isn't a pacifistic specie of the fair folk.

Difference is all in the mind, you see. About as much difference between a satyre and a faun. Both are the same except how they approach life. So is it with the pixie who used to call herself Astra (more on that later)....

Whatever the case, it knocks the noble lass out! Long enough to when a minion of one RF (with a sense of humor) shows up and put some kind of Key component within her she's not aware....

Not aware of being transported to a very different realm (somewhere in an interface with another reality and the non-reality of Game 3)....

But she quickly wakes up when she hears screaming!

Meanwhile, inside one Leviathan which wears a Collar, a very confused blue skinned being is waking up to....

Screaming!
