Lord Fred Discovers The Source Of The Pokemon Plague

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 3932

Lord Fred goes to the far corner of the house, where a dusty book sits on a rickety, split wooden table. Scrawled on the cover of the book in blue ink are the words, 'How about an original non-Nintendo inspired plot, lest we get sued?'.
Fred rubs the dust off the strange cover and opens the book. Dust flew.

Though Fred had opened the book at random, there was a note for him, glued to one of the pages.
"Dear Fred." it said. "I am the dragon. Thanks to a time paradox, you have just unleashed the Poke Man plague. Hee hee hee. You are an imbecile."
The surface of the note bulges. A small red hand pops out and pokes Fred in the middle of his forehead.

A blinding pain throws Fred backwards. He's vaguely aware he's now flat on the floor and screaming. He sees a hand pop out of the wall and poke Velus. She screams too.
Fred's bodily gyrations throw him in the opposite direction. He fetches up against a wall.

CRUNCH! CRACK! CRUNCH!
Fred's bones are snapping! AAAAHHH!!!!

Fred sees the sky above through the window of the house. He can tell by the position of the heavenly bodies that many hours have passed. Velus is nowhere in sight.
Fred gets to his feet. His limbs feel strange, as if they had been asleep for a long time. He sees a polished mirror hanging above a basin. He reaches it and looks at himself. Oh my goodnes...he's a ...

  1. horse morph!
  2. woman!
  3. doomed man. His body is ravaged by illness.
  4. something. Fred realizes the mirror only looks polished. It's dirty. He washes it and looks again.
