Astra in a cell

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 39085

"Well, what a cliche." said Astra. "Locked in a cell."
It was thirty feet by twenty feet, with the door at one thinner end. A stone ledge with some blankets was on the wall farthest from the cell door. Another stone protusion gave her a modicum of privacy if she wished to use the facillities.
A six inch wide vent, twenty feet up, brought in cold air and some sun.
Astra started testing the walls closest to her for any weaknesses. When suddenly...

  1. a note was dropped through the vent.
  2. she felt a blinding pain in her stomach.
  3. Fred appeared on the blankets. He was peacefully asleep.
  4. guinea pigs ran into her cell. Five of them, all rust colored.
  5. she heard singing. It was quite beautiful. An old Aqualarian opera, about a mother looking for her lost children.
  6. she turned into a centaur.
