Captain Roberts frowned, deep in thought. The entire ship was silent,
waiting for the Captain's response. "Very well." Roberts replied, after the long pause. "Prepare a rowboat for this King's man!" The ship's crew was obviously disgruntled from the captain's decision. There were a number of audible grunts and curses from amoung the pirates, and the loudest of these came from Mad Dog. "If ye dun' have the guts to slay this addlepated Dragon's-pawn, Hawk, then I'll do it meself!" Mad Dog exclaimed as he raised his cutlass high in the air and charged at Lord Frederigo. However Mad Dog stopped short, an expression of total fear comming over his face. The same look came over the entire crew of the ship as a shadow engulfed the Peacock's Eye. "It be the dragon!" One of the pirates exclaimed. Indeed, soaring above the ship the mighty dragon hovered, it's mighty wings flapping back and forth, spinning the ship from the force of the wind. In an instant the shock of seeing the dragon turned into a panic, and the entire ship went into an uproar of chaos. Some pirates dove off the ship, others prepared their weapons. Captain Robert the Hawk barked orders, but to no avail. He turned to Fred suddenly. "Well Lord Frederigo D'Honaire, it seems Mad Dog was right." He sneered. "I was a fool to have brought you aboard my ship, methinks I should have slayed ye on sight." "I am in as much peril as you, Roberts!" Fred exclaimed. "If we are going to survive we must put aside our hostilities and fight together!" Just then the dragon sent forth a flame, engulfing one of the sails in it's fire. "We have no time to waste!" Lord Fred exclaimed. "Will you trust me, Roberts?"
