Lord Fred with eyes only on the sword reverently and slowly reached out to
hold and steal the sword but the knight previously occupied was done with
his business. Tanzanite eyes stared at him, fierce and burning with
passion, as Lord Fred froze. The aristocratic face, wavy golden shoulder
length hair and a dangerous aura now seemed to surround the "simple"
knight. The tone he spoke in was deep and powerful, "So, stranger, what are
you doing trying to do other then show indecency and bad manners?"
Fred, for all intents and purposes looked like a deer with the hunter steps
away with a knife, started to stutter excuses and tried to get away. "Well
you see, that's the funny thing. I was ordered by the king to to slay the
dragon and so I must be going..." he said slowly getting up and backing
away. The feral look on the knights face was enough to drain what blood
came rushing at being caught. "I see, and how will you accomplish it when
you're scared of a "mere" knight?" The knight asked smirking. Fred's pride
wounded he answered the knight explaining how it seemed that as Lord he
should be the one afraid.
The tanzanite eyes glowed pine green like his right hand as the knights
sword was summoned to him. The knight stood to his full height, 6' 2", and
spoke quietly, "My name, stranger, is David. I am prince of the neighboring
kingdom and I demand your name and where your allegiance lies so I know who
to send your head to. You have few choices since this is clearly even if we
were allied, an act that could elicit revenge. Only weak fools fall for the
enchantments, and runes that as heir, I have the right to use. If you had
touched it you would have been fried, or worst. Abandon this quest of
yours, or face the consequences." David got into a fighting position and
waited for the answer.
