"I warned you once already, Vashkoda," Astra said, striding over from the
far side of the cavern and pulling her off Amy. Vashkoda must have weighed
at least 250 pounds, but Astra seemed to have little difficulty in
dragging her away. For one moment, Vashkoda looked as if she was going to
take a swing at her, but then she came to her senses. Astra was the
natural leader here, for all that Exotica was arguably of equal status in
the outside world. She was also the best fighter, and Vashkoda knew that
attacking her would be a bad idea.
"But, Astra..." she objected. "No buts. If someone doesn't want to eat orc, then that's their choice so long as they don't attempt to impose it on the rest of us.
