The belching causes them to be attacked by mercenaries who overheard
them. There is a brutal fight and seven mercs are slain. The three end up in a large, triangular jail cell, with only the clothes on their back. The only upside is that the cell had been treated to prevent magic use and thus, the burping goes away. Later, the guard who shoves food in through the tall, silver gate-door, congratulated them on a good fight. This indicates to Fred and Astra the mercs come from the Floating Isles. There, vengeance is a rare concept. Another good sign. But they are still trapped in a weird jail cell by guys working for the dragon. Soon the dragon appears. Since these passages aren't huge, he has to turn into humanoid form. Well, mostly. Today he is a grey and spotted centaur, with short black hair. The dragon clomps up to the door and looks inside.
