"Well, some." admitted the unicorn. "Old Man Bosely was turned into the fox back there. He's healthy and happy and has no morning pains. Mrs. Beasly has the Vanishing Sickness but now she's a swan. Well..."
Valarie hung her head, her mane covering her eyes. "What else can I do? I - am- a unicorn. I have a responsibillity to end the dragon's life."
Fred was filled with angst. To condemn so many to be animals? Sure, Bosely and Beasly would be fine but what about the others...?

  1. Question all the other animals first.
  2. Slip away with the unicorn.
  3. The dragon's forces attack. They are swiftly defeated but in the confusion, Valarie and Fred become hopelessly lost.
  4. Despair.
  5. Fred comes up with a clever solution.
  6. Fred comes up with a stupid idea that would never work.
