Bookstore For Stacy

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 37255

Stacy saw that the used bookstore had large picture windows. It looked to be a remodeled Blockbuster Video. The blues and yellows and the repetitive beige shelves reminded her of previous Blockbusters...vaguely, that is. Too bad she didn't remember which Blockbuster...
Stacy pushed open the door. A red and green set of bells tinkled merrily. They caught the sun, decorating the black tile floor with random bits of light.
And just at that moment, Stacy's feet cramped up again.
She bounced off a remaindered bin and fell hard.

  1. She was ignored by callous and mean New Yorkers.
  2. A retired nurse helped her.
  3. A young, female employee came running over. "Mom!" she cried. "Are you okay?"
  4. Bullets poured through the air, right where she had just been. A display of the latest Stephen King was shredded.
