New Surroundings and Hidden Observers

"Sure thing, boss." They said in unison.

"Oh yes, one other thing. Do your best to keep the inhabitants away from them. Fortunately the land they're headed towards is sparsely populated, so that should make your job easier."

Stefan and Mikhail appeared behind a a rock large enough to conceal the two of them. They could see the trio in their improvised transport coming towards them at a slow but steady pace. Minutes later, it had passed their hiding place. Within a few more minutes they would leave the beach behind and would start to cross a plain dotted with small boulders and scrub. A pretty desolate landscape. The only animals to be spotted would be grass grazers like rabbits and deer, and then probably only glances as they ran from the strange intruder.

To the casual observer, there wouldn't really be anywhere could reliably used to escape detection. Stefan and Mikhail weren't bothered by that. Their boss had given them camoflage that any modern soldier would probably envy. You see, they were given the temporary ability to blend with their surroundings. This meant that they could lay several feet away from Astra and Co., and not be noticed.

1. The 'land yacht' slowly trudged on, with it's shadow close behind.
