The Never Ending Quest - Episode 35449

At that moment they were interrupted by a bloodcurdling cry. Then an athletic figure became visible in the light of the fire, swinging towards them on the end of a thick vine. He was tall and muscular, and had long, unkempt, blond hair. He wore a tiger-skin - or maybe it was a Cho-Zen skin.

"It's Zantar!" one of the Cho-Zen exclaimed in alarm, and the three of them fled into the jungle.

Zantar dropped from the vine, landing lightly on his feet, and stood facing Andrea. He did not speak, so she plucked up the courage to say: "Thank you very much for saving my life. I am forever in your debt."

In reply Zantar said:

  1. "Think nothing of it, dear lady."
  2. "Me Zantar, you Jane."
  3. "Ug." She noticed that he had a very receding forehead that suggested that he was not truly human but some sort of hairless ape.
