The Dragon's Quest

The Dragon surveyed his current surroundings. He was in a small village called Sasparilla. The townsfolk were common folk, but good folk as well. Oddly enough, they did not run in fear when the Dragon approached, but instead treated him like an equal. The Dragon was awed at such treatment.

The Dragon stopped into the General Store to pick up some supplies (mouthwash, scale wax, and the like). A kindly old woman sat behind the counter. "Why, hello there fella! What's your name?"

The Dragon was stunned. For so long, he'd just been known as "The Dragon," and feared far and wide. He almost forgotten his given name. Almost. "Dorian," he told the woman.

"Well, Dorian," was the reply, "it's nice to meet you. I hope that my humble supplies can help you on your quest."

Happy as a clam, Dorian walked back outside of the store. A signpost up ahead indicated that the Courthouse was 500 miles away, in a city called Straussberg.

1. Dorian begins the trip to Straussberg immediately.
2. Dorian rents a room (a very large room) at the Inn.
3. Dorian puts together a party of adventurers to aid him in his quest.
