A hero loses his way

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 34950

Lord Fred decided to take the path on the left, relying upon his intuition to guide him back to the cave. He was fairly sure he was travelling in the right way, anyway. Unfortunately for Lord Fred, his intuition was always somewhat lacking in the department of effectiveness. After several hours of travel and still no sign of the the cave which brought him, by river, to the lake, Fred finally decided he was officially lost. The path had taken him higher up the mountains, towards the apex of the range. A gnarled old tree stump on the side of the path appears to Fred as an appealing site for a sitting break, and he gleefully takes the opportunity to do so in the beautiful Spring weather. After about fifteen minutes of sitting, thinking, and taking in the beauty of his environment, Fred makes the decision to...

  1. ...Continue up the mountain range to the summit, in order to gain a good view and figure his bearings in relation to the cave of his dragon-slaying quest.
  2. ...Backtrack down the path to find the woods from which he found the path to begin with, then attempt to backtrack through the woods to his original location at the river's outlet into the lake.
  3. Drink a tea of Calea zacatechichi, then take a nap and use the herbal tea-induced mystic dream state to gain an answer to his plight.
