Turned away from the town

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 3388

The rejection from the town was blunted by a passed note detailing a well- stocked barn just a mile away.
Fred and Astra pondered the situation as they sat in the barn. Why would a village turn them away? Fred had even offered to be locked inside the jail if they did not trust them.
Astra sat on a bale of hay. "Hey!" she said.
"Yes, that's what you're sitting on." said Fred around a mouthful of dried jerky.
"Shut up. There's smaller writing on the back of the note. It says...

  1. Help, we're under the despotic rule of Gregory. He kilsl any dissenters!"
  2. You have been propehsied to help stop demons from crashing the moon into us. Look under the hay bale for a trapdoor. Many magical items below."
  3. Wanna go out?"
