"Forget it!" Josh tells himself, only a few feet away from his point of
departure.
Burbank jumps down the stairs, following Scott into the kitchen.
"Josh, what in hell are you doing?" demands Scott.
"Why does it matter, Scott?" retorts Josh.
"I just wanted to make some supper and relax, man! Why do you always act
so weird lately?"
"Weird? Weird?! Excuse me, Mr. Chen! You're the one who doesn't
want to do anything anymore! You're the one content to sit on his ass
getting fat, watching cable, and surfing the damn web! Where's your sense
of adventure, Scott? Remember when we always did shit together, and half
the time, it was you leading the way? What are you doing now anyway, just
resting on some laurels?!"
"LOOK, Josh! If you want to leave, I'm not stopping you. You are more
than welcome to go somewhere, but I..."
"Scott, listen to me. I'm not doing this without you, man!"
