Fairy Town?
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 33006

Without further ado, Mark and Karen followed Kylaud through the
dimensional tear into Fairy Town. The first thing they noticed was the
horrible stink. Kylaud merely laughed and handed them a couple of gasmasks
from out of nowhere. "Y'all be needin' these." Once they'd put on the gasmarks and so liberated from the awful stench, they had a look around. Above them the sky was filled with boiling clouds that were occasionally lit up by flashs of lightening. Strange black winged creatures could be seen circling overhead. The land didn't seem that inviting, either. Though the ground they were standing on was mud coloured, it seemed firm enough. They were surrounded by squat one-storey buildings of the same colour. They were identical, with two windows, a door, and a flat roof with no chimney. "What's wrong?" Kylaud grinned. "Was you expecting bright sunshine an' li'l fluffy bunnies? Y'all shoulda known that wouldn't be so."
