I realized, to some surprise, that the wardrobe was rather familiar. It
was, in fact, the very same one that rested in my own bedroom, or
one very much like it. The clothes were the exact ones which I was
forced to wear during the diplomatic occasions I attended--most
heads of state would not expect anyone, especially a woman, attend
a summit in full battle armor. They might assume rather the wrong
thing about one's intentions.
I now realized that everything in this room was familiar to me. The furnishings of this room were exactly like those of my bedroom in the palace, although the room itself could not be more different. This was very puzzling indeed. I walked over to the doors to examine them--I doubted it would work, but it never hurt. To my surprise, they opened of their own accord, revealing a staircase.
