A detailed examination of the surface from an altitude of a few thousand
kilometres failed to show any sign of intelligent life. Since I had no idea where in space I was, I had to - although reluctantly - consider the option that this planet would become my new home. There was a plain on the largest continent in the northern hemisphere that looked to be a suitable spot for landing the Astra. Setting the Astra down, I exited the ship via the front loading ramp.
