Betty Plays for Time

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 32023

In her near panic, Betty didn't stop to think that it would be much quicker if she switched to a different computer. She managed to reboot and to find Sir Toby's site, but then the Usurper - about to administer the coup de grace to Fred - spotted her out of the corner of his eye. "What are you doing?" he asked her suspiciously.

"Er, nothing," Betty assured him as she continued to type. "Just checking up on one of my favourite Farscape sites. Do you like Farscape?" I need to keep him talking for long enough to get an episode successfully submitted, she told herself.

Since the Usurper was evil - or even Evil - Betty wasn't too surprised when he answered: "No. I was glad when it got cancelled."

Knowing that she didn't have much time, and afraid that Windows might crash again, Betty kept her episode short.

  1. It was identical to last time, as far as she could remember it.
  2. As a creative writer, Betty didn't want to repeat herself, even though her first effort hadn't appeared. This time she made the episode different.
  3. Astra reappeared on the scene, having managed to escape. She was wearing the racing costume that she had been given. [31902]
