Not comfortable with the idea of a woman who had held a dagger at her
throat wandering freely in her household, Betty showed Astra to the guest
bedroom and locked the door. Astra had been sitting in the room for hours. This sorceress' world was very, very strange to her. She thought of the strange, armoured beasts that had attacked Fred, what were they? She thought of the odd machinery that the sorceress had all over her house, she had seen nothing like it ever before. She thought of what the sorceress could possibly want with her. She thought of Fred. . . Fred. . . She could hardly believe he was gone forever. . . She had felt feelings like she never did before when she was with him. . . And then suddenly- Astra wiped away her tears. She then remembered something strange that the sorceress had said before- Fred did die but he was only one Fred. Was did those words mean? Were there any "other" Freds? Did that have anything to do with that confusing "storyline" mumbo-jumbo that the sorceress told her about when she arrived in this world? And the other name she mentioned, Sir Toby? Astra seemed to recall the sorceress say that he was the creator of her and Fred's world. She leaped up and ran to the door. There were so many questions she wanted to ask! She struggled with the door. Locked! Now what?
