At that point a patrol car containing two cops arrived, siren blaring.
They quickly took in the strange scene. A man dressed as a medieval knight
lay in the road, surrounded by a pool of his own blood. Nearby on the
sidewalk, a striking, tall, redheaded, young woman was holding a dagger at
the throat of another woman. Unfortunately any attempt to shoot the
redhead would be likely to hit the woman that she was threatening.
