Nurse Station One

"Excuse me. Could I have a glass of water? I can't sleep."

Cathy and Rebecca looked up with a start. There stood Phillip Rollins in his bright orange hunting cap and mittins, and pj's.

"Can I have a glass of water?" he repeated.

Cathy stood up and came around the enclosure. "How did you get past the security barrier?" Rebecca grabbed a phone and called security to report the release and that they were returning him to bed.

"Just a glass of water," Phillip repeated.

Cathy grabbed the keys and led Phillip back to the door. "Don't worry, we'll get you a glass of water."

Rebecca pressed a button and buzzed Cathy through the security gate, then went into an ajoining room to get a glass of water. She too grabbed her keys and went into the ward.

After she had left Fred, in his Greyskull personality, emerged from behind the nurse's station where he had been hiding. From observing the nurses night after night he knew what they would do. He slid into the chair next to the magnetic gate controls and flipped all of them from "key" to "open" except the one to Gate 16, the one in front of him, which he flipped from "key" to "lock."

Greyskull slid out of the chair and down the hallway behind him. He had never been this far out of the ward and did not know where the nurses quarters were.

In a couple minutes Cathy and Rebecca returned from putting Phillip to bed. They tried the key, but it didn't work. They tried the phone, but it too was disconnected. It would be a long night.

1. Greyskull snaps into his Fred personality.
2. Greyskull finds his way outside.
3. Greyskull finds his way into the abandoned laboratories in the basement.
