The Ventilation System? Or Maybe Just A Bunch of Craziness.

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 3026

The two heroes enter the pyramid via a dusty, musty ventilation shaft. They emerge in a wide, high stone passage. The six foot-wide floor has four feet in the middle filled with rushing, cold water, leading from somewhere and going somewhere. Lanterns embedded into the wall only gave so much light. Presumable some metallic words gave purpose to the tunnel but it was a language neither were familar with.
Astra, obviously cold, spoke up. "Perhaps this water cools the pyramid in some way. I am certainly cold myself."
Fred resists a brief un-knightly comment and urges Astra to choose a direction to go.

  1. Astra chooses left. They go left.
  2. Astra chooses right. They go right.
  3. Astra chooses left but an invisible wall blocks them.
  4. Suddenly an organic blob blorps out of the water and rotates to 'face' them. "Fsst." comes a noise...from somewhere.
  5. Astra wants a drink of water first. Fred is not so sure this is a good idea.
  6. While traveling leftwards, Fred has a sip of water. Bad idea. He can now see backwards in time.
