Running From The Zombies

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 3008

Sir Josh and the four red-clad policemen barrel out of the room. They spill into the Great Chamber, the waiting area one stays in before being granted audience with the king. Two of the cops slam the doors shut, cutting off the left hand of an approaching zombie.
This are was three stories tall and shaped like the inside of the wider half of an egg. Two staircases bordered the front door. They led up to a multitude of hallways. The door itself had one side flung wide open. It was day time, sunny and the courtyard outside was coated with leaves. There was one zombie out there. (But there might be more). Muttering and clattering could be heard from the upper levels also.
The doors behind the five men probably wouldn't hold for long. They had to get out one way or another. Which way do they take?

  1. They charge out the main entrance. The lone zombie is taken out with a flying kick by one of the cops.
  2. They charge up the left staircase.
  3. They charge up the right staircase.
  4. A crowd of zombies appear at every exit!
  5. The zombie hand latches itself around Sir Josh's neck!
