"I used the coconut to send Fred and Velus home," Alfred admitted. "You
know how the old saying goes: two's company but four's a crowd. As far as
I know, they are perfectly all right."
"Well, I suppose that's something," Astra conceded. "They can get on with their lives now, back with their friends and family. I, on the other hand, am still stranded on this island, and now have only an eighty-nine year old man for company." "I thought that we'd be so happy. We still can be, you know. I may not be so young as I was, but everyone says that I'm marvellous for my age." "But 'everyone' isn't on this island. I am, though, and I think that you're a disgusting old man. Goodbye. Don't come looking for me." With that, she stalked off. She was going to move her hut to the other end of the island from Alfred's. A year passed. Astra had now been on the island for two years, Alfred for one.
