The Mage
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 29398

The mage stands on a stone balcony far above Lord Fred and his wounded
companion, studying them dispassionately.
Lord Fred gazes up at him, wondering whether this old man means to harm
them or help them.
Veluses eyes flicker open and he appears to recognise the wizened wizard.
"Grandfather!", he croaks, then passes out.
The mage floats down on a magic cloud he conjurs up by muttering an
incantation, and kneels down by his grandson's side.
"I will take him home", he tells Lord Fred, "and nurse him back to health"
Lord Fred nods acquiescence. The mage speaks again: "I'm afraid I have bad
news for you. The dragon you slayed was not the one that has been burning
your king's fields. That one lives much deeper inside these caves. Consult
your map and you will see it's lair beyond the underground sea."
Then he picks up his grandson and is gone.
