Alicia used a tail-furpin to unlock the doors to the library. Fred read as Alicia held a small mirror. As this was the library, lanterns were not allowed. But for late night work, a mirror system was used to accentuate any light from outside. The news scrolls confirmed her story. Many women and men of note had vanished. Fred had recognized a few from the party. Other reports told of peoples appearing that had no idea where they are and according to the local mages, their aura had been highly unusual. A sidebar talked about how half-beast people could also see auras but since half-beasts were considered savages, nobody cared. Fred was not sure what to do.
