Fred read as Alicia sat in a darkened corner. Even with the robe they
had 'bought', she didn't want to attract too much attention. The news scrolls confirmed her story. Many women and men of note had vanished. Fred had recognized a few from the party. Other reports told of peoples appearing that had no idea where they are and according to the local mages, their aura had been highly unusual. A sidebar talked about how half-beast people could also see auras but since half-beasts were considered savages, nobody cared. Fred was not sure what to do.
