Deeper into the muck. Oh nosers!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 2928

Fred sank deeper into the muck. The surrounding gunk followed. Then in one swift motion, a hole was opened into reality and the entire swamp followed.
Fred and Astra were thrown through the general Unreality that existed underneath Time And Space. Yellow walls and floating clocks and dripping swords were not in evidence as Unreality had a near homicidal distate against cliches. Just a black and grey tunnel. And swamp gunk.
The two landed ...

  1. on a bed.
  2. in a lake.
  3. on the awning overlooking the entrance to the biggest store they had ever seen.
  4. in cushioned thrones.
  5. in the castle's laundry room. Astra landed on some dirty pillows. Fred landed on the edge of a water pit and broke his spine. It took three entire wizards to heal that and they were useless for a week.
  6. in the control room of Unreality.
  7. in the portion of the Astral Plane that held Velus' mind.
