"Hey, that's mine," states Fred imphatically. He quickly grabs his
heart and puts it back in its place. The wound magically heals
up. "What are you doing?!" shouts the priest from nearby. He starts to run up to where Fred is now standing before the creature. "I may have sinned, but in my heart I was good. Take something else!" yells Fred at the creature. The creature's eyes burn with fire and a deep gurgling comes out of its mouth. It starts to grow in size and mass. "The only, the only way to appease it is to feed it hearts. Otherwise this is irrelevant. It will kill us all!" shouts the priest, standing right behind Fred. The creature, or, more properly, the goddess of medicine and disease, sees the loud man, extends a tentacle to his head, and promptly removes his skull and backbone from the rest of his body. She dangles the bones over her mouth and slurps them in like pasta. She lets loose a loud crunch and burp when done, and then looks hungrily at Fred.
