The Never Ending Quest - Episode 27945

Everyone was thrown to the ground as the shaking worsened. Then a bright
light appeared, grew, and from within it a figure emerged. The figure
looked at the assembled mass of persons.
"What the?!?" came a startled sound from out of the stranger's hood. The voice was female. "Who are you?" roared the manwolf. The female stranger speedily eyed the assorted crowd and flung a number of darts - then she stepped into the light and disappeared. The darts flew like lightning, one hit the wolfwoman Para-Astra in the throat; another pierced Black Astra in the breast; and a third imbedded itself in the stomach of regular, human Astra. Para-Astra clutched her jugular for dear life while the others screamed - it was not enough, she died within moments. "It's only a flesh wound," yelled Black Astra but then she swooned and fell to the floor, the demi-fox Syn inspected the wound and cried out out: "Poison!" The regular, human Astra fainted - the strain of everything that had occurred this day, topped off with a poison dart in her belly, was just too much. After an hour of magickal and medical treatments the regular, human Astra found herslef alive, in bed, with a cold cloth on her forehead. The other two Astra's were dead. Bunny stayed with Astra while the others were in the ballroom again. They had been inspecting the space where the light had been, they had been inspecting it for the last hour. "Its magick," said Synz. "Its not our magick," said Regent. "But is it Draconis magick?" said Willow. A resounding "NO," answered that question.
