"Sonja!" said the dusty, spotted horse. "I was right!" said Guy. "You do have a talking horse" Astra, ne-Sonja gaped. In the fake, false stories the horse was mildly telepathic. That's how it learned speech and how, presumably, it knew the false name Astra was operating under. But there was one important thing. THE TALKING HORSE WASN'T REAL! "I swear to god." said Sonja. "If a bimbo and a male simpleton show up, I will slay them." The horse positioned himself and slammed his hooves into the spots where the chains met the wall. The man was soon free. And dressed, from some simple black clothing in the saddlebags. Astra/Sonja shook her head.
