It took Astra much effort to keep her amusement to herself. It seemed that this Frank believed the warrior princesses always traveled with a semi- sentient horse, a whiny female sidekick, an idiot moron with barely any sword skills and were menaced every week by far reach political conspiracies, giants, time travel and or Ares the God of War.
Sure, Astra was on an adventure right now but sheesh, someone's been filling Frank's head with a load of claptrap. Why, it'd had been a year or more since she saw Ares and even then it was only so he'd return the Boots of Fast Walking that belonged to her mother.
Anyway, it was time to ...

  2. duck for the Point-Nosed Seagulls of Hell were slowly flapping their way.
  3. say hi to Ares, who'd just appeared. He had a bucket of gold in his hands.
