Fred scrambles up the second staircase. It terminates in a blank wall.
Frantically, he searches for lever or key to open the passage. Finally,
he hears a click and knows he must have hit something to unlock this
bookcase. He enters the small, but tidy four piece apartment. He looks
about quickly, and sees nothing. As he exits, he spots a small medallion
on the dresser. That's odd, thinks Fred, the Acquelerics were banished from the Kells twenty years ago. Fred picks up the medallion. Surely, this was a medallion from the Acqulerics, rouge wizards who mixed science and magic. They had produced vile creatures, such as men with the bodies of horses and spiders with giant scorpion tails. Their creatures were highly unstable and turned on their own population.
