Hal Armchair, private eye, went down to the crime scene to see what he could see.

  1. He found an important clue.
  2. He was run over by a chariot.
  3. He was run over by the 9:15 bus from Fourth Street to Central Park. The people inside were panicking, seeing the medevial setting outside. And because the bus just ran over someone.
  4. Betty kills Hal on orders from her uncle.
