Getting a cab went fairly smoothly, although the cab driver was surly
and rude. At least she was in a situation where her amnesia didn't
give her any disadvantage.
Things changed, however, when she was about halfway there. A strange sound like that of a jet engine burst at her nearby. Something whizzed by her, something green that gave off a lot of smoke. Then, a green armored fist smashed the door open. The cabdriver cursed in some foreign language, and tried to drive away from the thing, but it had a firm grip on the cab. Stacy could see that it was a man wearing a hideous leering mask, riding on some kind of bat-shaped glider. The Green Goblin. Just what she needed. "Hey there, sweet cheeks! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" it said to her. It then grabbed her in its arms and flew off. What would someone like the Green Goblin want with her, anyway? She tried to struggle out of its arms and pounded ineffectually, but dealing with armored supervillains wasn't really her area of expertise.
