Josh, Fred and a Naked Chick

So to recape, Lord Fred is a small dog, Sir Josh is a dragon-slayer,
they've met up and now they have just encountered a naked maiden chained
to the wall. For some reason they expected this to be in some sort of generic corridor, but it wasn't. The maiden was chained in a tremendously large area. The ceiling was fifty feet above them and the far walls were out of sight. A few pillars and the small passage Fred and Josh had just exited through were the only other things visible. "Oh, thank goodness!" said the maiden. She was six feet tall and had bright blonde hair that fell to her waist. She was wide-waisted and small chested. She hadn't been starved or abused, there were no signs of wounds or ribs. Her arms were drawn to her sides, with only a few inches of chain between her wrists and the wall. Her feet had a foot of clearance. "Thank all mighty!" she continued. "My name is Zoira Barnes, I was a delivery person for the Great Kingdom's mail service and he captured me weeks ago and there's a spell to make me able to stand around for so long and not starve but I haven't seen anyone for days..." Sir Josh took the opprotunity as she paused for breath. "I am Sir Josh, dragon slayer. I mean you no harm. Do not worry fair maiden, I will free you." Lord Fred barked. "Oh yes, this is my new ally Lord Fred, changed by the dragon. He will stand gaurd as I destroy your chains." "Thank you, thank you, thank you." heaved Zoira. She seemed to be on the verge of fainting. Dutifully Lord Fred directed his doggy senses outward as Sir Josh went at the chains with his sword. Lord Fred was able to smell salamanders, standing puddles of water and an old pile of dragon poop but there was nothing else in this cavern. How does Sir Josh's maiden-freeing attempts go?
