The Never Ending Quest - Episode 25940

"This is delicious!" exclaims Belboz as he chews on a bite of medium-rare steak. "Now, what else did you have to report?" The shambling undead horror in front of him makes several howling and moaning noises in response.

"What?!" says Belboz, taking a big drink of mead. "Lord Fred is dead?! Already? But, I hadn't even decided if I was going to oppose or side with him yet. There were so many options!"

The thing shrugs its shoulders, then makes several more grotesque noises. Part of the skin on its left arm sloughs off and splats on the floor.

"Ah! Good idea, go fetch his body. More options are available to me, quite right. What would I do without you? Well, probably make another one. But anyway, you go get him, ill finish this delicious steak!" and so he does.

  1. Fifteen minutes later, the undead thing drags Fred's corpse into the room.
  2. We stick with Belboz through every delicious bite of his meal, then get back to the story.
  3. An hour later, the undead thing has not returned. Belboz takes action!
  4. An hour later, Belboz has indigestion. Belboz takes a different kind of action!
  5. Fred's corpse is gone. Bad news for Belboz.
  6. Wait... where did he get the steak?!
