The Portal

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 25895

Stacy stared at the shimmering portal (portals always shimmer). It was some ten feet wide and about as tall. It was rimmed by flickering blue light, within which she could see a dimly lit cave or dungeon of some sort.

Had everybody gone through the portal? If so, then how? It didn't seem to be moving. How could it have swept up thousands of people? Could this just be one portal of many?

  1. Her question was at least partially answered when she suddenly felt an irresistible urge to step through. Lassie went through with her.
  2. She had no intention of going through, to who knew where. "Come on, Lassie," she said, and turned to leave.
