Aloud, she said, "Velus, thank you for showing this to me - I have a feeling we'll be needing something like this before we're done here."

"Are we going to explore it?" Velus asked.

"Not now, no. But," she said, raising her sword, "I will make it easier to find." And with that, Astrid used her sword to score the rock walls at the curve leading to the doorway. "There," she said, with some satisfaction, "Now we can relocatre it again when we need to."

"We should," Velus said. "Now what, Princess?"

"Let's head back to the main corridor," she said. There are some other things we need to take a look at." Astrid turned to leave.

1. Soon, Astrid and Velus were back where they'd started.
2. But the route back had vanished, leaving only a solid rock wall.
3. But it quickly became clear the tunnel now seemed to run on forever with no end in sight.
4. Suddenly Velus pushed Astrid to the ground. "Princess Astra, watch out!" he yelled as a volley of rocks flew overhead.
5. Suddenly, Velus made a grab for the lamp.
6. Suddenly, Velus pushed Astrid back into the doorway.
7. Then Astrid felt herself being pulled backwards towards the shimmering doorway.
