Astra had a funky feeling about the chips. She held one up to the light.
It turned into a tiny little man with wings who flew off. "Ack!" said Velus, who hadn't said much recently. Then every chip on the plate turned into winged humans who flew off. Fred got their money back from the waiter and they went off to find a pub that didn't sit on one of the Moonstones of Aussie. They found another pub, 'Callahans Place', ('No moonstones here!' said the sign) and sat down for more. The place was wide and airy. The chairs were typical mismatched pub chairs but all were comfy and clean. The tables did have graffiti carved into them but it was clever and witty and no owl-mail numbers either. Ridcully told them that there was an anti-nasty graffiti spell suffusing the table. (But it wouldn't change their chips). Light came from a couple of chandaliers that were placed to catch the sun from windows in the roof. As one would dim, another would lighten. The groups need for chips hadn't been affected much by the magical chips so they sat down for another batch. This wide-open pub (a converted dance hall) had a musical act at one end. 'Emerald Tiers'. A scruffy guy all in black, another one with a green pony tail, a bald goateed guy and girl so tiny she was almost an official midget made up the band. Three seconds before they were to play their first song...
