Flicker

If he had not looked away, he would have seen Astra flicker and vanish. The Dragon's spell was still on them, keeping them from leaving the island, though they had yet to attempt it. It reacted unpredictably with the lava. And another spell, cast by a far more powerful mage than this world's Dragon, had reached out across the worlds to find her.

1. Astra finds herself in a desert, surrounded by Fred and three dopplegangers of herself--one of whom was dead.
