Astra Dies, Astra Arrives

The eyebeams of the golem holding Astra 2 turned red. She began to scream. She wrestled around, as if trying to escape the beam, and began to change once more into a werewolf.

Astra 3, who had fallen on the floor, leaped into the air and slammed into the Golem, howling a battle-cry. Astra 1 prepared to do the same but the other was a split-second earlier, so she held back.

The golem turned off its beams, dropping Astra 2 to the floor. Her fur faded away and she became human again. He grabbed Astra 3 by the shoulder and his hands began to crackle with white energy. Astra 3 screamed. The others stood by in silent horror.

The golem let go of Astra 3's body. It fell to the ground, dead.

The air flickered and where the dead Astra 3 had once stood, another Astra appeared, an Astra who was clearly six months pregnant. She stared down at the corpse of her other self and screamed. And then that corpse flickered and vanished.

The golems themselves stood by, unsure of what had just happened.

The golem leader was the first to break the silence. "It would seem that you are part of a transversal convergence. The probability that you are the source of these anomalies is 75%. You will be examined by the Archetype."

1. Confused and terrified, the seven exiles were marched across the desert.
2. And what of Fred 3, though he would not take that name for some time, and Irena?
3. Astra 3's corpse reappears the very time and place she had disappeared. [90873] Fred and Velus swear vengeance and continue up the mountain.
