"Well, it's similar, but I don't remember the throne room being as grand as this, which is why I asked Reaibn where we were. But if that is where we are, then I don't think that the King is going to be very pleased about what you've done to his curtains."

As well as the length of curtain that Astra had wrapped round herself as a sort of toga, the many pieces which she had used to clean herself now littered the floor. "Well, it couldn't be helped," she said, "and it's little worse than the damage which we've unavoidably done to the thrones and the carpet. And for all my efforts, though I'm a lot cleaner than I was, I'm still by no means clean. Much cleaner than you are, though. Are you going to take your armour off? It's absolutely filthy."

"Certainly not! It wouldn't be proper."
