The Lady Andrea immediately began to laugh... buy a horse? she
thought, the peasants and merchants shall give me whichever
horse the Daughter of Croix desires! And soon those horse thieves and
murderers shall pay for what they have done!
She began to walk along the trail southwards, the way was hard for such an untravelled girl. Her's was the life of luxury, not of labor and sweat. But sweat she did as the midmorning sun continued to warm the land. Not long thereafter (though much too long for this noble-girl), after much huffing, puffing and hiding away at the slightest sound, she found the trail open up to a field and at the farther edge of said field a number of buildings. "Ha!" she said triumphantly. Upon getting closer, however, she saw that the field was full of weeds, and that the buildings were in truth half fallen-down. what is this place? she wondered.
