Insanity of insanities! Fred couldn't believe that he would spend the
rest of his life as a gargantuan statue, and worse still, a statue in the
form of a man-fox! Alicia, too, was suffering the same predicament, but
her presence was no comfort at all, in fact it made things worse. HE was
the one who told her not to question the elven creatures, and now she was
a prisoner of stone because of him.
Far from this woodland region a pair of elves were making their way towards the lands of Allaria and another pair was going to Aqualaria. Their mission was simple: find the rulers of the lands from whence came the 'Custodians'. The elves were distrustful of all creatures not of the forest and not elven, and so they traveled by night, finding protection and disguise in the shadows formed therein. The first pair to reach their destination was that headed to Allaria, the Great Kingdom. They entered the south-western borders by way of minor provinces and high mountains. They found a traveled road and began their walk towards the central lands.
