The Never Ending Quest - Episode 23044

The clouds moved away from the moon, lighting the area further.
"All right!" said Fred. "That's it! We are nowhere near the caves. I don't like this at all."
Astra looked at him. Fred's dark jacket, wrapped around her upper body, made it seem as her head was floating against a background of trees and shrubs.
"Nothing we can do about it now." she said. "And since you do not know this land, the smartest thing is to get to a place of security. At least with something big against our backs."

  1. They find a large town. Unspotted, Fred trades out a very nice porch table cloth for a gold coin so Astra would not be arrested for public indency.
  2. They find an abandoned barn.
  3. They find a lost horse. Neither knew who owned it but they grabbed the reins anyway. The horse was glad to be with humans.
  4. They find a panicked little girl. Astra gets her to talk.
  5. Fred encounters his old enemy, Rooster the overweight, slow moving centaur.
