Fred crossed his arms. "Well, that's not very honorable, is it?"
"Pardon?" said the beast.
"Great dragon slays two unarmed humans." Fred says mockingly. "Score one for giant winged dingbat."
"Dingbat?" roared the dragon. Heat crisped Fred's eyebrows. "I control what goes on here! Nothing, not even rumours, escapes without my permission! Even in my hideaways not connected to these caves!"
"Good for you." said Fred. "But you'll still have to live with the fact you slaughtered two unarmed humans. Does that make you feel special?"

  1. The dragon gave them their swords back.
  2. "Yes it does!" The dragon grew a bit, via magic, and ate Fred and Astra.
  3. The dragon vanished in a puff of shame. Shame and magical dust. And real dust.
